Your garden should be more than a patch of plants— it should be a place that feels like home.

A space that shifts and blooms with the seasons, where life happens effortlessly, and where you can slow down and enjoy the beauty around you.

At KW Garden Design, we design gardens that do just that. Whether you’re starting fresh, reviving an overgrown space, or simply want expert guidance, we help you create a garden that’s low-maintenance, high-impact, and uniquely yours—right here in Long Island, New York.

And here’s something most landscapers won’t tell you: native plants can be both stunning and sustainable. If you think they’re too wild, messy, or that you need to go all-in to make an impact, I’m here to show you another way. You can have a garden that’s vibrant, polished, and ecologically beneficial—all at once.

The Problem With Most Landscapes? They’re Designed for Now, Not for Life.

Here’s what no one tells you: a beautiful garden shouldn’t require endless effort to keep it that way. Yet, so many homeowners end up with spaces that demand constant maintenance, plants that struggle in the wrong spots, and designs that look great for a season but fall apart soon after.

I believe there’s a better way. Gardens should be designed to thrive naturally.

That’s why I take a different approach. Instead of chasing quick-fix landscaping, I focus on intentional design—choosing the right plants for your space, planning for year-round beauty, and making sure your garden feels effortless, not overwhelming.

And if you’re curious about native plants but aren’t sure where to start, you’re not alone. Most people don’t realize that you don’t have to go all-in to make a difference. Thoughtfully integrating native plants into a well-planned design creates a garden that looks refined, supports pollinators, and thrives effortlessly—without the “wild and messy” look that so many people fear.
